JAMES A. VAZZANA APPOINTED MANAGING PARTNER
TO CHAMBERLAIN D’AMANDA
March 5, 2012—Chamberlain D’Amanda has named James A. Vazzana as the firm’s next managing partner.
Jim Vazzana has been with the Rochester New York law firm Chamberlain D’Amanda since 2000. Throughout his career he has practiced family law, and is currently on the firm’s executive committee. Most recently, Mr. Vazzana was named “Rochester, NY Best Lawyers Family Law Lawyer of the Year” for 2012 by Best Lawyers, the oldest and most respected peer-review publication in the legal profession.
Mr. Vazzana is active in several local and state bar associations including the Monroe County Bar Association’s Family Law Section Executive Committee, Ethics Committee and Fee Arbitration Committee. Vazzana has been on the New York State Bar’s Family Law Section Executive Committee since 2000. He has also served on the NYSBA’s Legislation Committee and was appointed to the Special Committee to Ensure Quality of Mandated Representation by the NYSBA president.
Mr. Vazzana is also involved with several local organizations including St. Joseph’s Villa and the Citizen’s Review Panel for Child Protective Services of Western New York as Chair (appointed by former Governor George E. Pataki.) He was also appointed to the Matrimonial Practice Advisory Committee for New York State.
Jim Vazzana is rated as AV® Preeminent by MartindaleHubbell and has been listed as an Upstate New York Super Lawyer® for several years. He is also listed in Best Lawyers in America.
